EDM4hep is a generic event data model for future HEP collider experiments. It provides standardized data structures for organizing and managing particle physics data across different detector systems, including components (mathematical types), datatypes (physics objects like MCParticles, hits, tracks, vertices), and associations between data objects. It is part of the Key4hep software stack and built on top of PODIO.
