Experiment-independent toolkit for particle track reconstruction
ACTS is an experiment-independent toolkit for (charged) particle track reconstruction in (high energy) physics experiments, implemented in modern C++. Built here with the DD4hep, Root, and Json plugins enabled (against hep-forge's own dd4hep/root) so that an epic-built detector geometry can be converted into an ACTS tracking geometry -- part of hep-forge's EIC Phase 1 build-out (geant -> g4hepem -> dd4hep -> epic -> npsim, plus acts).
