Identification of debris-containing droplets from a droplet-based single cell/nucleus RNA-seq. 'diem' classifies droplets by modeling droplet expression with a multinomial mixture model. Droplets are assigned to debris or cell type clusters after estimating parameters with expectation maximization (EM).
