JANA2 is a C++ framework for multi-threaded High Energy and Nuclear Physics (HENP) event reconstruction. It is a modernized rewrite of its predecessor (JANA), preserving its valued features while adapting to contemporary experimental requirements. JANA2 emphasizes developer accessibility with a straightforward API for accessing event data and supports integration with ROOT, PODIO, and other HEP software frameworks.
