Abydos includes phonetic algorithms, such as Soundex, (Double) Metaphone, & NYSIIS, string distance measures, such as Levenshtein, Damerau, Jaro(-Winkler), Editex, & Tversky index, as well as various stemmers & string fingerprinters like omission & skeleton keys.
