r-readstata13 public Function to read and write the 'Stata' file format. 2025-03-25
r-rcppparallel public High level functions for parallel programming with 'Rcpp'. r-rarpack public Previously an R wrapper of the 'ARPACK' library <http://www.caam.rice.edu/software/ARPACK/>, and now a shell of the R package 'RSpectra', an R interface to the 'Spectra' library <http://yixuan.cos.name/spectra/> for solving large scale eigenvalue/vector problems. The current version of 'rARPACK' simply imports and exports the functions provided by 'RSpectra'. New users of 'rARPACK' are advised to switch to the 'RSpectra' package. 2025-03-25
r-quantreg public Estimation and inference methods for models of conditional quantiles: Linear and nonlinear parametric and non-parametric (total variation penalized) models for conditional quantiles of a univariate response and several methods for handling censored survival data. Portfolio selection methods based on expected shortfall risk are also included. 2025-03-25
r-quadprog public This package contains routines and documentation for solving quadratic programming problems. 2025-03-25
r-qdapdictionaries public A collection of text analysis dictionaries and word lists for use with the 'qdap' package. 2025-03-25
r-qap public Implements heuristics for the Quadratic Assignment Problem (QAP). Currently only a simulated annealing heuristic is available. 2025-03-25
r-pwr public Power analysis functions along the lines of Cohen (1988). 2025-03-25
r-pspearman public Spearman's rank correlation test with precomputed exact null distribution for n <= 22. 2025-03-25
r-pscl public Bayesian analysis of item-response theory (IRT) models, roll call analysis; computing highest density regions; maximum likelihood estimation of zero-inflated and hurdle models for count data; goodness-of-fit measures for GLMs; data sets used in writing and teaching at the Political Science Computational Laboratory; seats-votes curves. 2025-03-25
r-pryr public Useful tools to pry back the covers of R and understand the language at a deeper level. 2025-03-25
r-prroc public Computes the areas under the precision-recall (PR) and ROC curve for weighted (e.g., soft-labeled) and unweighted data. In contrast to other implementations, the interpolation between points of the PR curve is done by a non-linear piecewise function. In addition to the areas under the curves, the curves themselves can also be computed and plotted by a specific S3-method. r-proxy public Provides an extensible framework for the efficient calculation of auto- and cross-proximities, along with implementations of the most popular ones. 2025-03-25
r-prediction public A one-function package containing 'prediction()', a type-safe alternative to 'predict()' that always returns a data frame. The package currently supports common model types (e.g., "lm", "glm") from the 'stats' package, as well as numerous other model classes from other add-on packages. See the README or main package documentation page for a complete listing. 2025-03-25
r-prabclus public Distance-based parametric bootstrap tests for clustering with spatial neighborhood information. Some distance measures, Clustering of presence-absence, abundance and multilocus genetical data for species delimitation, nearest neighbor based noise detection. Try package?prabclus for on overview. 2025-03-25
r-polspline public Routines for the polynomial spline fitting routines hazard regression, hazard estimation with flexible tails, logspline, lspec, polyclass, and polymars, by C. Kooperberg and co-authors. 2025-03-25
r-pmml public The Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) is an XML-based language which provides a way for applications to define machine learning, statistical and data mining models and to share models between PMML compliant applications. More information about the PMML industry standard and the Data Mining Group can be found at <http://www.dmg.org>. The generated PMML can be imported into any PMML consuming application, such as Zementis Predictive Analytics products, which integrate with web services, relational database systems and deploy natively on Hadoop in conjunction with Hive, Spark or Storm, as well as allow predictive analytics to be executed for IBM z Systems mainframe applications and real-time, streaming analytics platforms. 2025-03-25
r-plotrix public Lots of plots, various labeling, axis and color scaling functions. 2025-03-25
r-plotmo public Plot model surfaces for a wide variety of models using partial dependence plots and other techniques. Also plot model residuals and other information on the model. 2025-03-25
r-pkgmaker public Provides some low-level utilities to use for package development. It currently provides managers for multiple package specific options and registries, vignette, unit test and bibtex related utilities. It serves as a base package for packages like NMF, RcppOctave, doRNG, and as an incubator package for other general purposes utilities, that will eventually be packaged separately. It is still under heavy development and changes in the interface(s) are more than likely to happen. 2025-03-25
r-pkgload public Simulates the process of installing a package and then attaching it. This is a key part of the 'devtools' package as it allows you to rapidly iterate while developing a package. 2025-03-25
r-pkgbuild public Provides functions used to build R packages. Locates compilers needed to build R packages on various platforms and ensures the PATH is configured appropriately so R can use them. 2025-03-25
r-permute public A set of restricted permutation designs for freely exchangeable, line transects (time series), and spatial grid designs plus permutation of blocks (groups of samples) is provided. 'permute' also allows split-plot designs, in which the whole-plots or split-plots or both can be freely-exchangeable or one of the restricted designs. The 'permute' package is modelled after the permutation schemes of 'Canoco 3.1' (and later) by Cajo ter Braak. 2025-03-25
r-pbsmodelling public Provides software to facilitate the design, testing, and operation of computer models. It focuses particularly on tools that make it easy to construct and edit a customized graphical user interface ('GUI'). Although our simplified 'GUI' language depends heavily on the R interface to the 'Tcl/Tk' package, a user does not need to know 'Tcl/Tk'. Examples illustrate models built with other R packages, including 'PBSmapping', 'PBSddesolve', and 'BRugs'. A complete user's guide 'PBSmodelling-UG.pdf' shows how to use this package effectively. 2025-03-25
