Package Name Access Summary Updated
r-pkgload public Simulates the process of installing a package and then attaching it. This is a key part of the 'devtools' package as it allows you to rapidly iterate while developing a package. 2025-03-25
r-network public Tools to create and modify network objects. The network class can represent a range of relational data types, and supports arbitrary vertex/edge/graph attributes. 2025-03-25
r-mcmcpack public Contains functions to perform Bayesian inference using posterior simulation for a number of statistical models. Most simulation is done in compiled C++ written in the Scythe Statistical Library Version 1.0.3. All models return 'coda' mcmc objects that can then be summarized using the 'coda' package. Some useful utility functions such as density functions, pseudo-random number generators for statistical distributions, a general purpose Metropolis sampling algorithm, and tools for visualization are provided. 2025-03-25
r-jomo public Similarly to Schafer's package 'pan', 'jomo' is a package for multilevel joint modelling multiple imputation (Carpenter and Kenward, 2013) <doi: 10.1002/9781119942283>. Novel aspects of 'jomo' are the possibility of handling binary and categorical data through latent normal variables, the option to use cluster-specific covariance matrices and to impute compatibly with the substantive model. 2025-03-25
r-glmmtmb public Fit linear and generalized linear mixed models with various extensions, including zero-inflation. The models are fitted using maximum likelihood estimation via 'TMB' (Template Model Builder). Random effects are assumed to be Gaussian on the scale of the linear predictor and are integrated out using the Laplace approximation. Gradients are calculated using automatic differentiation. 2025-03-25
r-fitar public Comprehensive model building function for identification, estimation and diagnostic checking for AR and subset AR models. Two types of subset AR models are supported. One family of subset AR models, denoted by ARp, is formed by taking subet of the original AR coefficients and in the other, denoted by ARz, subsets of the partial autocorrelations are used. The main advantage of the ARz model is its applicability to very large order models. 2025-03-25
r-dplyr public A fast, consistent tool for working with data frame like objects, both in memory and out of memory. 2025-03-25
r-webshot public Takes screenshots of web pages, including Shiny applications and R Markdown documents. 2025-03-25
r-visnetwork public Provides an R interface to the 'vis.js' JavaScript charting library. It allows an interactive visualization of networks. 2025-03-25
r-vcd public Visualization techniques, data sets, summary and inference procedures aimed particularly at categorical data. Special emphasis is given to highly extensible grid graphics. The package was package was originally inspired by the book "Visualizing Categorical Data" by Michael Friendly and is now the main support package for a new book, "Discrete Data Analysis with R" by Michael Friendly and David Meyer (2015). 2025-03-25
r-th.data public Contains data sets used in other packages Torsten Hothorn maintains. 2025-03-25
r-survey public Summary statistics, two-sample tests, rank tests, generalised linear models, cumulative link models, Cox models, loglinear models, and general maximum pseudolikelihood estimation for multistage stratified, cluster-sampled, unequally weighted survey samples. Variances by Taylor series linearisation or replicate weights. Post-stratification, calibration, and raking. Two-phase subsampling designs. Graphics. PPS sampling without replacement. Principal components, factor analysis. 2025-03-25
r-superpc public Supervised principal components for regression and survival analsysis. Especially useful for high-dimnesional data, including microarray data. 2025-03-25
r-strucchange public Testing, monitoring and dating structural changes in (linear) regression models. strucchange features tests/methods from the generalized fluctuation test framework as well as from the F test (Chow test) framework. This includes methods to fit, plot and test fluctuation processes (e.g., CUSUM, MOSUM, recursive/moving estimates) and F statistics, respectively. It is possible to monitor incoming data online using fluctuation processes. Finally, the breakpoints in regression models with structural changes can be estimated together with confidence intervals. Emphasis is always given to methods for visualizing the data. 2025-03-25
r-spelling public Spell checking common document formats including latex, markdown, manual pages, and description files. Includes utilities to automate checking of documentation and vignettes as a unit test during 'R CMD check'. Both British and American English are supported out of the box and other languages can be added. In addition, packages may define a 'wordlist' to allow custom terminology without having to abuse punctuation. 2025-03-25
r-spacyr public An R wrapper to the 'Python' 'spaCy' 'NLP' library, from <http://spacy.io>. 2025-03-25
r-rocr public ROC graphs, sensitivity/specificity curves, lift charts, and precision/recall plots are popular examples of trade-off visualizations for specific pairs of performance measures. ROCR is a flexible tool for creating cutoff-parameterized 2D performance curves by freely combining two from over 25 performance measures (new performance measures can be added using a standard interface). Curves from different cross-validation or bootstrapping runs can be averaged by different methods, and standard deviations, standard errors or box plots can be used to visualize the variability across the runs. The parameterization can be visualized by printing cutoff values at the corresponding curve positions, or by coloring the curve according to cutoff. All components of a performance plot can be quickly adjusted using a flexible parameter dispatching mechanism. Despite its flexibility, ROCR is easy to use, with only three commands and reasonable default values for all optional parameters. 2025-03-25
r-r.matlab public Methods readMat() and writeMat() for reading and writing MAT files. For user with MATLAB v6 or newer installed (either locally or on a remote host), the package also provides methods for controlling MATLAB (trademark) via R and sending and retrieving data between R and MATLAB. 2025-03-25
r-rmarkdown public Convert R Markdown documents into a variety of formats. 2025-03-25
r-ritools public Tools for randomization inference. 2025-03-25
r-rdpack public Functions for manipulation of R documentation objects, including functions reprompt() and ereprompt() for updating 'Rd' documentation for functions, methods and classes; 'Rd' macros for citations and import of references from 'bibtex' files for use in 'Rd' files and 'roxygen2' comments; 'Rd' macros for evaluating and inserting snippets of 'R' code and the results of its evaluation or creating graphics on the fly; and many functions for manipulation of references and Rd files. 2025-03-25
r-r.cache public Memoization can be used to speed up repetitive and computational expensive function calls. The first time a function that implements memoization is called the results are stored in a cache memory. The next time the function is called with the same set of parameters, the results are momentarily retrieved from the cache avoiding repeating the calculations. With this package, any R object can be cached in a key-value storage where the key can be an arbitrary set of R objects. The cache memory is persistent (on the file system). 2025-03-25
r-r2d3 public Suite of tools for using 'D3', a library for producing dynamic, interactive data visualizations. Supports translating objects into 'D3' friendly data structures, rendering 'D3' scripts, publishing 'D3' visualizations, incorporating 'D3' in R Markdown, creating interactive 'D3' applications with Shiny, and distributing 'D3' based 'htmlwidgets' in R packages. 2025-03-25
r-pkgmaker public Provides some low-level utilities to use for package development. It currently provides managers for multiple package specific options and registries, vignette, unit test and bibtex related utilities. It serves as a base package for packages like NMF, RcppOctave, doRNG, and as an incubator package for other general purposes utilities, that will eventually be packaged separately. It is still under heavy development and changes in the interface(s) are more than likely to happen. 2025-03-25
r-pkgbuild public Provides functions used to build R packages. Locates compilers needed to build R packages on various platforms and ensures the PATH is configured appropriately so R can use them. 2025-03-25
