Package Name Access Summary Updated
r-iranges public Provides efficient low-level and highly reusable S4 classes for storing, manipulating and aggregating over annotated ranges of integers. Implements an algebra of range operations, including efficient algorithms for finding overlaps and nearest neighbors. Defines efficient list-like classes for storing, transforming and aggregating large grouped data, i.e., collections of atomic vectors and DataFrames. 2025-03-25
r-affy public The package contains functions for exploratory oligonucleotide array analysis. The dependence on tkWidgets only concerns few convenience functions. 'affy' is fully functional without it. 2025-03-25
r-marray public Class definitions for two-color spotted microarray data. Fuctions for data input, diagnostic plots, normalization and quality checking. 2025-03-25
r-s4vectors public The S4Vectors package defines the Vector and List virtual classes and a set of generic functions that extend the semantic of ordinary vectors and lists in R. Package developers can easily implement vector-like or list-like objects as concrete subclasses of Vector or List. In addition, a few low-level concrete subclasses of general interest (e.g. DataFrame, Rle, and Hits) are implemented in the S4Vectors package itself (many more are implemented in the IRanges package and in other Bioconductor infrastructure packages). 2025-03-25
r-graph public A package that implements some simple graph handling capabilities. 2025-03-25
r-crch public Different approaches to censored or truncated regression with conditional heteroscedasticity are provided. First, continuous distributions can be used for the (right and/or left censored or truncated) response with separate linear predictors for the mean and variance. Second, cumulative link models for ordinal data (obtained by interval-censoring continuous data) can be employed for heteroscedastic extended logistic regression (HXLR). In the latter type of models, the intercepts depend on the thresholds that define the intervals. 2025-03-25
r-biobase public Functions that are needed by many other packages or which replace R functions. 2025-03-25
r-affyio public Routines for parsing Affymetrix data files based upon file format information. Primary focus is on accessing the CEL and CDF file formats. 2025-03-25
r-zlibbioc public This package uses the source code of zlib-1.2.5 to create libraries for systems that do not have these available via other means (most Linux and Mac users should have system-level access to zlib, and no direct need for this package). See the vignette for instructions on use. 2025-03-25
r-textdata public Provides a framework to download, parse, and store text datasets on the disk and load them when needed. Includes various sentiment lexicons and labeled text data sets for classification and analysis. 2025-03-25
r-rcompression public The package is a basic interface to some of the compression facilities in the zlib and bzip2 libraries for uncompressing (and compressing) data in memory that is not in a file. It handles bz2, gzip and regular compress (.Z) content. It can work on files or with data in memory, e.g. downloaded directly into memory via an HTTP request. It is used when we don't want to write data to a file and then read it back into R. This is common when performing HTTP requests via the RCurl package and dependent packages such as SSOAP. 2025-03-25
r-opennlpmodels.en public openNLP models for the English language. 2025-03-25
r-biocgenerics public S4 generic functions needed by many Bioconductor packages. 2025-03-25
r-scoringrules public Dictionary-like reference for computing scoring rules in a wide range of situations. Covers both parametric forecast distributions (such as mixtures of Gaussians) and distributions generated via simulation. 2025-03-25
r-preprocesscore public A library of core preprocessing routines. 2025-03-25
r-limma public Data analysis, linear models and differential expression for microarray data. 2025-03-25
r-rmpi public An interface (wrapper) to MPI. It also provides interactive R manager and worker environment. 2025-03-25
r-rpostgres public Fully 'DBI'-compliant 'Rcpp'-backed interface to 'PostgreSQL' <https://www.postgresql.org/>, an open-source relational database. 2025-03-25
r-rmariadb public Implements a 'DBI'-compliant interface to 'MariaDB' (<https://mariadb.org/>) and 'MySQL' (<https://www.mysql.com/>) databases. 2025-03-25
r-ncdf4 public Provides a high-level R interface to data files written using Unidata's netCDF library (version 4 or earlier), which are binary data files that are portable across platforms and include metadata information in addition to the data sets. Using this package, netCDF files (either version 4 or "classic" version 3) can be opened and data sets read in easily. It is also easy to create new netCDF dimensions, variables, and files, in either version 3 or 4 format, and manipulate existing netCDF files. This package replaces the former ncdf package, which only worked with netcdf version 3 files. For various reasons the names of the functions have had to be changed from the names in the ncdf package. The old ncdf package is still available at the URL given below, if you need to have backward compatibility. It should be possible to have both the ncdf and ncdf4 packages installed simultaneously without a problem. However, the ncdf package does not provide an interface for netcdf version 4 files. 2025-03-25
r-av public Bindings to 'FFmpeg' <http://www.ffmpeg.org/> AV library for working with audio and video in R. Generate high quality videos files by capturing images from the R graphics device combined with custom audio stream. This package interfaces directly to the C API and does not require any command line utilities. 2025-03-25
r-alphashape3d public Implementation in R of the alpha-shape of a finite set of points in the three-dimensional space. The alpha-shape generalizes the convex hull and allows to recover the shape of non-convex and even non-connected sets in 3D, given a random sample of points taken into it. Besides the computation of the alpha-shape, this package provides users with functions to compute the volume of the alpha-shape, identify the connected components and facilitate the three-dimensional graphical visualization of the estimated set. 2025-03-25
r-ftrading public A collection of functions for trading and rebalancing financial instruments. It implements various technical indicators to analyse time series such as moving averages or stochastic oscillators. 2025-03-25
r-doe.base public Creates full factorial experimental designs and designs based on orthogonal arrays for (industrial) experiments. Provides diverse quality criteria. Provides utility functions for the class design, which is also used by other packages for designed experiments. 2025-03-25
r-bingroup public Methods for estimation and hypothesis testing of proportions in group testing designs: methods for estimating a proportion in a single population (assuming sensitivity and specificity equal to 1 in designs with equal group sizes), as well as hypothesis tests and functions for experimental design for this situation. For estimating one proportion or the difference of proportions, a number of confidence interval methods are included, which can deal with various different pool sizes. Further, regression methods are implemented for simple pooling and matrix pooling designs. Methods for identification of positive items in group testing designs: Optimal testing configurations can be found for hierarchical and array-based algorithms. Operating characteristics can be calculated for testing configurations across a wide variety of situations. 2025-03-25
